About Dr. Robert L. Schlossberg
Dr. Robert Schlossberg, or Dr. Rob as his patients call him, graduated from The George Washington University, with a degree in emergency medicine. It was clear to him from early on that he had a passion for patient interaction and care. Following college, he spent some time as a paramedic and was able to gain a significant amount of experience in patient management and treatment. Ultimately, however, he decided to focus his interests in the dental profession. It was at The University of Maryland, where he earned his DDS degree, that he developed a strong dedication to the area of complex restorative dentistry. Immediately after he received his dental degree, he went into private practice in the Baltimore Metro area. As a four year veteran of the Washington DC area, and as a practicing sedation dentist, he jumped on the opportunity to become part of Bethesda Sedation Dentistry.
Dr. Schlossberg's education included a surgical clerkship in advanced surgical techniques, post-graduate training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Comprehensive Restorative Dentistry and numerous other areas of advanced dental treatment with The Dawson Academy, in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a student of, and a member of The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, he has been able to incorporate all of his enthusiasm and education into a relaxing, pain-free appointment for his patients.
When he is not helping patients with their dental fears, he is often found sailing the Chesapeake, around town with his puppy Dharma, traveling the globe or enjoying the company of good friends and family. Together, with his wife Dr. Deborah Klotz, they are excited about the opportunity to welcome you to their practice.
