Dream Team

Dr. Deb Klotz and Dr. Rob Schlossberg—your personal dream dentists are looking forward to meeting you along with the rest of the team.

Adrienne Batten, Office Manager/Patient Coordinator

I joined the team at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry in 2009. My prior background was in Sports Marketing with the University of Maryland. In the past year I have had a “crash course” in dental terminology.  I attended team training on Dental Implants at the Misch Institute in Orlando and I recently became certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

I was born in New York and raised in Maryland.  I got married in July of this past year.  My husband and I have five wonderful children.  Three of whom have graduated from college, one who is a senior at UMD and one who is a freshman at the Savannah School of Art and Design.

The thing I love best about working at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry is helping people to overcome their fear of the dentist.  It is gratifying to know that there are many patients who used to dread coming to the dentist but who now look forward to coming in to see us.

Diane Spainhour, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

I entered into the dental field in 1987 as a dental assistant.  I really feel good about my career choice as I am certain that dentistry was my calling and am happy that I continued my education to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.   This position combines the things that I love most about dentistry, helping people to achieve their most beautiful smiles, and getting to know our patients. It really is satisfying to know that the work you do every day helps people.

I am also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and am a qualified orthodontic assistant.   I feel like each team member here at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry is truly part of my family.  That is the same way each patient is treated, like a member of the family!

Dora Vasquez, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

I moved to the United States from Bolivia over 20 years ago.  I went to college in Rexburg, Idaho and majored in interior design. One summer I took a job at a dental office and to my surprise, found that I became very interested in dentistry and decided to change my career path.

I began as a chair side assistant while undertaking the training necessary to become a full Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.  After passing the Board I worked at Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Dental Unit until joining the great team at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry.  I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and a qualified orthodontic assistant.

I have a teenage son whom I adore and love spending time with friends and family.
